About the team

The Switch is an authorization platform for Credit and Debit transactions in the merchant acquiring space. Financial authorizations will be received through an Point of Sale terminal system, virtual transaction terminal, Point of Sale API interface or E-commerce transaction gateway

What you will be doing

We are seeking an individual to fulfill a development role for the merchant processing and financial transaction authorization applications.

What you bring:

Bachelors degree in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.

* Experience with C, C++ and object-oriented programming
* Knowledge of Switch authorization platforms
* Experience with VI, Unix scripting, having proficiency of writing SQL queries using Oracle database, or Postgres DB Experience with MongoDB would be helpful
* Experience with performing application build and installations
* Experience using transactional simulation tool sets and response simulators Knowledge on Soap UI to work on API testing, rest APIs, XML
* debugging (GDB) and vulnerability management tools.
* Experience in an agile development practices and all ceremonies involved.

Added bonus if you have:

* Experience having payments and merchant acquiring background and knowledge of Point of sale (POS) terminal would be helpful.
* Some knowledge of clearing and settlement processes for merchant processing is helpful as an added plus
* Some knowledge of API programming would be helpful Development knowledge on Perl, Python, Java or Angular JS is a plus
* Knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSM) or key management is an added plus Having knowledge of JIRA, GIT, source code management,
