Position Summary:

Responsible for all facets of the Warehouse Management System. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.

Essential Job Functions:

* Develop database applications that will be used to enhance business processes in distribution applications.
* Develop and provide instructional classes to end-users for system applications used in Warehouse Management Software.
* Analyze the distribution processes and identify areas of opportunity for improvement.
* Identify, design, and implement technology, and procedural based solutions to increase warehouse associates productivity.
* Monitor error logs and system output reports to ensure system performance and data integrity in Warehouse Management System.
* Document and resolve system issues and determine cause and effect items within Warehouse Management System
* Assist in design of requested enhancements for Warehouse Management System.
* Create data bases, reports, and track and trend efficiencies.
* Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

* 3-5 years experience in supporting technical services or system analysis, design or programming and the associated development methodologies.
* Knowledge of warehouse operations.
* Knowledge of switch and router installation, maintenance and management.
* Proven communication skills to effectively communicate information to all levels of the organization.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and IBM Smart Suite applications.
* Ability to read and comprehend complex technical manuals.
* Ability to prioritize and organize work based on changing and challenging deadlines.
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Good analytical abilities and solid problem solving skills.

Desired Previous Job Experience

* IS Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in Information Systems position or related business.
* 2 years experience working with AIX Unix platforms
* 2 years working with relational databases.
* Knowledge of computer languages such as Java, CICS, DOS and/or C-base helpful.
* Working knowledge of systems (WIN, DLX, etc.).
* Production Manager
