Job Description

Supplier Quality is seeking an energetic, customer-focused Training Lead to join their training team. The Supplier Quality organization provides global innovative training solutions, including web based training, instructor led training, videos, job aids, certifications and learning paths. The Training Lead is responsible for managing multiple technical learning paths / curriculum and other training related projects, focused on essential and effective training resources for the Supplier Quality organization.

* Develop and manage training curriculum to meet global supplier quality learning needs in various media, including web-based, instructor-led, video and job aids.

* Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to generate learning objectives, develop training strategies and design and develop training curricula, media and materials.

* Regularly assess and analyze training needs, identify gaps and recommend solutions

* Develop and support training plans and learning paths for new systems and supplier quality process related topics and job roles

* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

* Test and implement training in the Global Learning Management System

Required Skills:

* Bachelor's degree - technical or education/instructional design

* Strong project management and planning skills that includes assessing timing, anticipating risks, clearly defining action items and deliverables, providing detailed status updates and regularly collaborating and communicating with other project managers

* Strong communication skills - written and oral

* Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Sharepoint) and Camtasia

Preferred Skills:

* Knowledge of GM Supplier Quality processes

* 3+ years of project management experience

* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities

* High level of interpersonal skills with all levels of management and engineering

* Able to lead cross-functional and global teams

* Creative, self-driven and passionate about driving continuous improvement through new and innovative ideas

* Master's degree in engineering, education, or closely related field of study
