General Dynamics Information Technology, a Federal marketplace leader in next-generation IT solutions and professional services, is seeking a Technology Transformation Managert to support the modernization, consolidation, operations and maintenance of mission critical systems for a government agency.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Provide Technical and Management leadership to a highly technical team responsible for the system architecture and design solutions of a modern, flexible and cloud base solution consisting of DevSecOps, Cloud, Service and Automation Architects and Engineers.
* Responsible for adhering to allocated budget, schedule and meeting performance metrics
* Provide timely and clear communication to internal and external stakeholders
* Communicate and collaborate across the Technical Delivery and Service Delivery teams in a DevSecOps environment.
* Partner with application architecture teams to support cloud onboarding efforts
* Develop migration tools and cloud transitional architecture
* Drive adoption of DevSecOps processes and procedures
* Experience with the establishment of continuous testing operational environments executing automated tests
* Experience implementing a CI/CD Pipeline implementation and integration
* Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) design principles and implementation expertise using CloudFormation templates, Terraform modules and/or Ansible playbooks
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field
* 10+ years technical experience in a software development environment and 3+ years experience managing a highly technical team that has been responsible for architecting a modern solution to migrate complex applications to an AWS environment
* Demonstrated experience Leading teams modernizing and consolidating applications
* Ability to obtain a Public Trust 6C Background Investigation approval
* Proven experience with open standards such as APIs, XML
* PMI-PMP or PMI-ACP
