GDIT is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer with at least 10 years of experience to support engineering of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) technologies in support of Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, VA.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Provide RF systems design, integration, testing, and repair of surface and airborne systems.
* Apply advanced RF engineering knowledge to develop and implement creative solutions.
* Perform technical analysis on RF systems performance.
* Test and measure RF components and integrated devices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
2. Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in the area of and working knowledge of related RF systems activities.
3. Experience with any five (5) of the following ten (10) systems:
* Boeing TOMs network
* MERLIN
* HPOI-A
* MPTOD and Banshee Family of Systems
* Classic Reach and Aggregate Remote Capability(ARC)
* Digital Receiver Technology (DRT) Family of Systems
* Joint Signals Processor (JSP) System
* Escort System
* Minotaur and Multiplatform Geolocation(MPG) with JICD 4.2
DESIRED CAPABILITIES:
1. Demonstrated RF experience in tuner/ receiver development and RF System subsystem development
2. Ability to research and determine mission needs for near and long-term RF system platforms
3. Ability to analyze the system designs and develop system test criteria, ability to provide status and technical alternatives for system design.
