Job Description

GDIT is currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to provide technical support for a new program that provides agency-wide Enterprise IT support. The SharePoint Developer will serve in a vital program role, responsible for full life-cycle software development, data modeling, and system testing.

Researches, designs, develops and modifies SharePoint applications
Participates in all phases of the systems life cycle beginning with gathering user's functionality and system requirements, architecture, design, implementation, test, deployment and support phases
Create web parts, lists/library, content types, site columns, master pages, search navigation, permissions and data management
Upgrade and optimize existing SharePoint applications to enhance the customer experience
Support and maintain current and legacy SharePoint implementations and related user bases
Participate in all phases of the development life cycle
Provide technical support and consultation for application and infrastructure questions
Support the efforts to deploy SecDevOps, Infrastructure as Code and automation efforts across the service area

Required Skills:
o Bachelor's Degree in a related business or technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
o Proven working experience as a SharePoint Developer for Top Secret mission critical systems and networks
o Experience in developing and administrating the SharePoint framework
o Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
o Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
o Experience building and/or maintaining collaboration sites and/or programs
o Excellent communication skills
o Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude
o Detailed knowledge of relevant government regulations and standards
o Possess an active TS/SCI security clearance, with Full-Scope Polygraph
