GDIT is seeking a Implementation Coordinator to help support our GSM-ETI TO35 contract.
NOTE: This position is contingent upon contract funding.
The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) is working on many projects supporting the installation of equipment to modernize and sustain the DISN. The Implementation Coordinator will analyze all GFI related to a particular implementation requirement or activity at the designated implementation site and ensure delivery of the engineering solution required to complete the requirement. This GFI includes, but is not limited to MSS, TSRs, TSOs, Incidental Bill of Materials (IBOM), configuration standards, wavelength plans, and Site Build Lists (SBLs). Examples of Implementation Projects could include, but are not limited to, Last Half Mile, Circuit Transitions, and Sustainment efforts.
Implementation Coordinator roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Host meetings with DISA and other stakeholders to understand priorities and report on status
* Develop detailed network engineering solutions to meet project requirements and constraints
* Identify, resolve, and provide options to resolve and/or escalate implementation activity issues to leadership that could affect overall project schedule
* Be available, via phone or email, to respond and answer questions from Project Managers, Logistics, Engineers and IE leadership on ongoing implementation activities
* Coordinate with Engineers, Program Managers, and others for properly completing the implementation activities
* Create deliverables, including Implementation Requests (IRs), IBOM, Completion Reports, Delayed Service Reports (DSRs), In-Effect Reports (IERs)
* Update MSS with required information as appropriate
* Maintain current status of all activities and requirements
* Provide technical documentation and other administrative support for implementation activities
* Responsible for providing on going analytics and identifying issues related to a variety of non-technical and technical project deliverable(s); as it relates to requirements determination, conceptualization, design, development, testing, verification and validation, documentation, and implementation.
* Conducts research and analytical studies on a variety of programs and issues; coordinates and expedites reports and program; develops procedures; formulates recommendations and prepares reports.
* Conduct organizational analysis and evaluations, to determine functional requirements, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively.
Required Qualifications:
* Active (or Interim) DoD Secret or Top Secret Clearance. Candidates without a clearance will be considered contingent upon their ability to complete the clearance process.
* Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
* 5 years experience
Desired Qualifications:
* Experience in ordering, provisioning, and activating network telecommunications services in the Department of Defense (DoD) using applications such as DISA Direct Store Front (DDSF), WWOLS, IIEx, and other DISA provisioning resources.
* Working knowledge of the architecture and components of the DoD Information Network
* Experience working on project teams with other IT professionals.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications particularly MS SharePoint and MS Excel
The likely salary range for this position is $68,000 - $102,000, this is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary; rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
