Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of the team of men and women that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The USMC TSO group is seeking an Expert Functional Analyst to join their team at Quantico, VA.

GDIT plays a pivotal role in supporting the USMC Technology Services Organization (TSO) by providing software development, systems engineering, maintenance, and operations for Financial Management and Human Resource Management, Business Mission Area systems for the DoD, including USMC, Navy, Defense Finance and Accounting Service, Air Force Reserve, and Air National Guard.

GDIT supports the TSO as a key component of a seamless GOGOCS Integrated Product Team (IPT). GDIT partners with the TSO to deliver mission critical and critical to customer applications in support of the Marine Corps integrated HRM and pay system, as well as the accounting system and a number of others.

The Expert on the team:
* Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects and highlights areas of improvement.

* Utilizes extremely complex modeling and measuring techniques. Performs functional modeling based on requirements analysis.

* Directs functional testing of various projects or systems.

* Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.

* Develops new functionality or updates the existing, to meet client needs.

* Writes and updates project documentation including procedures, presentations, and training materials.

* Performs functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships.

* Consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.

* May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

* May serve as a mentor to experienced analysts.

* May serve as team or task lead. (Not a people manager)

* Serves as advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.

* Generates recommendations in the form of briefings, reports, and other major documents provided to senior level client personnel.

* Recognized as a subject matter expert in a specific area.

Basic Qualifications:
* BS degree; Master's degree highly desired

* 15+ years of USMC Manpower and Reserve Affairs application systems knowledge and experience.

* PMP certification

* Secret clearance
