Dell Boomi develops, deploys, and operates mission critical data integrations for small, medium, and enterprise level customers. Our Engineers within our Boomi team are thought leaders and have significant input into the design and direction of our product. Responsibilities:

Deliver Quality Software

* Work with a team of developers and testers in a highly agile environment to produce quality software to customers
* Develop test plan specifications and test case and advocate for the user
* Build and maintain functional regression testing suites
* We are looking for QEs that have some experience or knowledge of QA practices
* Work independently, without needing a set of already formulated acceptance criteria or test cases to further explore the application and find possible coverage gaps
* Formulate story acceptance criteria by independently gathering information and utilizing available resources to develop automated tests
* Challenge the intent of the user story and defining/refining the acceptance criteria
* Apply development and technical skills to all aspects of QA, including manual and automated functional and integration tests and the setup of production like environments

Requirements:

General Experience and Education

* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in software quality assurance and testing
* BS or MS degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Testing Experience

* Should have the ability to create and manage manual and automated tests
* Hands on experience with scripting automated tests using Selenium WebDriver
* Extensive experience with web application testing and knowledge of testing API and Web Services
* Hands on experience working with SQL and Linux
* Experience working with tools such as ReadyAPI, Postman, Git, Jira, Jenkins
* Analytical skills to deduce the cause of issues in testing environment as well as production environment
* Experience with object oriented programming concepts
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment testing environments

Collaboration

* Knowledge of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle
* Ability to work and collaborate in a team based environment
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment testing environments
* Should identify areas of improvement within current QA practices and provide constructive feedback
* Knowledge of best practices in testing procedures and provide mentoring
* Should be able to work independently with limited direction and should be a self-starter

Preferences:

* Application Integration and/or Data Integration (ETL) knowledge is a plus
* Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment testing environments
* Experience with containzation technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker are a plus
