Job Summary: As a member the Connected Living product team, you will help elevate the definition of device onboarding from a basic process to a robust experience spanning all steps of the customers journey. Our success will be measured by the level of support we provide as well as connection success as our customers navigate device installation and activation. The Product Manager role will report into the Director, Device Activation, and assist with efforts to help drive the product strategy, define the customer experience and track the success metrics for self-install activation of all supported devices. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong product mentality and experience working with cross-functional teams.

You take time to understand the customer and market by digging into the data, research, and actually talking to breathing, living customers. You synthesize this info to define core customer needs, problems to solve, and solutions to build.
Core Responsibilities
* Work with product, user experience design, engineering (hardware and software) teams and program delivery to help define and deliver upon the onboarding product vision. This includes but is not limited to:
* Writing user stories
* Defining product requirements
* Maintaining a backlog
* Preparing sprints
* Drive new features and enhancements
* Partner with copy, UX, translation, business and engineering to bring user stories to life
* Track key features and deliverables and associated deployment targets
* Prioritize bugs
* Monitor product performance including success and operational metrics
Preferred Requirements
* Self-motivated, independent worker, able to drive multiple projects
* Creative, flexible, detail-oriented and organized
* Excellent written and verbal communications skills
* Bachelors degree or equivalent
* 5-7 years of working experience
* 2+ years of digital product experience including requirements definition, management of engineering cycles, interaction design, user research, and usability testing
Core Responsibilities
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to launch new services, features and enhancements on time and within budget.
* Gathers input to define product concepts. Justifies expenditures for products. Defines and analyzes markets. Evaluates technologies. Develops detailed product features and requirements and develops implementation plans.
* Participates in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion, forecasting, product positioning and pricing strategies.
* Accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management for assigned products.
* Directs the product planning and scheduling process according to sales volume, inventory requirements and materials availability.
* Establishes and implement policies and procedures needed to achieve goals.
* Develops, mentors and trains Specialists to ensure department work performance and objectives are met.
* Manages, gathers and analyzes competitive intelligence data for product lines.
* Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.
* Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
* Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
