Our Caterpillar Remanufacturing Division currently has an opening for a Team Member position located in the Corinth, MS facility. Primary operation will be large engine disassembly and material cleaning in a large engine block. Ensuring product meets cleanliness standards in a production environment.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Work in a fast-paced, safety and quality focused environment to disassembly & detail large engine blocks and clean core engines using a high-pressure washer system within an enclosed wash booth.

Operator will use man lift with attached spray nozzle to clean the top of large engines.

Operator will maintain product identification tags before and after cleaning.

Maintain water treatment and recycling system.

Operator should have attention to detail and be self-motivated.

Operator will work in a team environment.

May use computer systems to enter data.

Will be required to use an overhead hoist to move large components.
Operator is expected to cross train in other areas of operations to provide flexibility.

Requires use of disassembly tools (vibratory, pneumatic tools: impact guns, wrenches, needle guns, handheld grinders, etc) to clean/detail to remove debris.

Will be required to use an overhead hoist to move large components.

Candidate will work in an environment without close supervision.

All operators will adhere to Built in Safety guidelines.

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 6 months previous manufacturing experience

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

* Previous Washer/Blaster Experience
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
* Experience using Infinity QS
* Experience using Tool Crib System
Previous work experience in a detail booth.
* Experience using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
* Prior use of overhead hoists.
* Knowledge of engines and components.

Physical Requirements:

* Will wear a waterproof suit safety suit for high pressure washing applications.
* Will be required to manually control a high-pressure spray nozzle.
* Will work in a damp environment that is not climate controlled.
* Operator will be required to wear hard hat with face shield and earmuffs.
* Ability to use and handle large hand tools.
* Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
* Will wear a detail suit with hood and/or respirator.
* Must be able to pass a respirator physical and will complete respirator training.
* Will use supplied air powered tooling.
* Must be able to use vibratory tools.
* May be required to lift/push/pull heavy parts up to 30 lbs. multiple times per shift.

Job Bid Eligibility Requirements:

Additional Information:
Starting Hourly Rate: $12.60
Work Hours: 5AM - 3PM
Work Location: Corinth, MS
