As a Trade Compliance Analyst, you will be responsible for managing daily import & export compliance activity to ensure Caterpillar parts and product flow across international borders in compliance with Customs regulatory requirements. In addition, this role will act as the lead for export filing processing & troubleshooting.
Job duties/activities may include but are not limited to:
* Coordinating customs documents & data requirements with internal customers
* Coordinating operations with customs brokers & export filing agents
* On-going support and communications pertaining to US imports/exports
* Driving defect resolution to ensure filing accuracy & timeliness
* Executing continuous improvement activities to improve efficiency & eliminate process waste.

* This position requires 10% or less travel.

Basic Qualifications
* 4-year college or university degree, in International Business, Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management . In lieu of a degree, 3+ years experience in trade compliance, logistics, supply chain, order invoicing and/or transportation is required.
* 1+ years of experience in trade compliance
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Top Candidates Will Also Have
* Trade compliance certification such as LCB, CCS, CES or CUSECO
* Process Improvement experience
* Knowledge of Caterpillar systems
* Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures
* Interpersonal, teamwork, organization and communications skills
* Strong organizational and customer relationship management skills
* Strong Analytical Aptitude and problem-solving abilities
* Demonstrated proficiency in written & verbal communication
* Detail oriented
* Ability to manage multiple projects while collaborating with different groups
