The successful candidate will support analysis of company-wide actuals, budgets and projections.
Reporting to the Director, Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis, this individual will be responsible for assisting in the reporting and analysis of a broad range of activities. This includes: preparation and analysis of monthly and quarterly financial results, annual business plan, quarterly full year updates (projections and R&O), preparation of analysis for quarterly earnings releases, variance analysis and financial modeling. Additional responsibilities include completing ad hoc requests from various levels of management and analyses from all areas of the company
Individual will interact with various levels of Finance Leadership, FP&A area leads, finance contacts in each of the regions/business units and other finance and non-finance groups such as Corporate Financial Reporting and Investor Relations.

* Develop the ability to obtain and summarize financial data using BMS financial systems, while presenting critical insights in a clear and concise manner.
* Obtain a thorough understanding of BMS financial processes for all parts of the organization.
* Experience the connection between processes, analytics and reporting from a total company view on both an internal and external basis.
* Manage and deliver on objectives in an environment with stakeholders across many functional areas.
Obtain exposure to various finance organizations and Senior Finance Leadership.
* Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting, CPA is preferred.
* Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in finance, accounting, or financial analysis is required.
* Must possess strong analytical skills.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel; a detailed understanding of BMS Financial Reporting systems is preferred (notably Hyperion and SAP BEx).
* Must have ability to manage multiple tasks, be well organized, and have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding deadlines.
* Strong oral, written and interpersonal skills.
* Must be a self-starter, highly motivated and have the ability to work independently.
Strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical landscape (competitors, products and environment) is a plus.
