The primary function of the Senior Traffic Manager is to manage the traffic team to ensure timely workflow and to communicate project status to all agency personnel, including creative, account management, production, presentations, studio, and editorial.

To ensure this the senior traffic manager is responsible for:

* Daily supervision of traffic managers
* Developing consistent schedules and hot sheet for traffic team
* Forecasting workload and staffing accordingly
* Enforcing agency process and looking for improvements
* Co-administrator of Workfront Proof
* Training new traffic managers

Additionally, all traffic managers are responsible for:

Opening jobs, creating a timeline, and creating job folders/setting up jobs in Workfront Proof.

Producing and maintaining an accurate status report for all active jobs.

Scheduling and conducting weekly status meetings.

Routing projects and ensuring each stage is properly reviewed by appropriate team members and signed off on with approval or changes required.

Anticipating bottlenecks, as well as any deviance in original schedule, throughout the workflow process and communicate those issues to team members.

Prioritizing projects continuously.

Collecting internal agency hours (art/copy/proof/studio and project management) for estimates either before (or in some case) after creative input meeting.

Other tasks as necessary to performing the responsibilities above.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degreerelated field or equivalent advertising agency experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Thorough working knowledge of graphic design and advertising production techniques equivalent to a minimum of 2 years in an advertising agency studio

Essential Skills and Abilities:

Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, eye for detail, and exceptional communicator.

Experience with traditional graphics and advertising production.

Proficient at forecasting potential bottlenecks by using problem solving abilities to find alternative solutions and reach a positive outcome.

Ability to act without direction, yet must work well with internal staff to keep projects prioritized and on schedule.

Experienced with Microsoft Office and must maintain up-to-date computer skills.
