Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist/Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Linthicum, MD.

Roles and Responsibilities:
bull; Build strong relationships with supplier organization
bull; Understand supplier health (financial, environmental, socioeconomic, etc.)
bull; Understand financial impact of open orders
bull; Understand and manage open orders to support factory needs
bull; Collaborate with appropriate parties to close open action items
bull; Verify accurate and up to date information is available to all parties
bull; Hold monthly performance reviews with suppliers collaborating with the procurement and supplier performance teams.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must possess:
- Bachelor rsquo;s or Master rsquo;s Degree from an accredited institution
- Three+ years of professional experience in supply chain management, or related fields, to include business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, or manufacturing with a Bachelor rsquo;s Degree, One year with a Master rsquo;s Degree
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership, critical thinking and innovative behaviors in past projects, roles or experiences
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:
bull; Previous Supply chain, Business management, Finance or Customer Service experience
bull; Proficient in the use of Microsoft suite of products including strong Excel skills
bull; Proficient in the use of SAP
