Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a GBSD Staff Engineer Systems Test Process Technical Leader. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSD program here.

What Youll Get To Do:

Lead process development and coordination with subject matter experts responsible for planning, organizing and developing engineering processes specific to a particular discipline and/or portfolio of products
Support coordination with industry and academia in specific technical disciplines
Emphasize process development using modern model-based methods and practices in support of a full digital engineering transformation
Support the engineering process director to manage engineering tools and applications for the particular discipline and products
Provide technical review authority, process audit and process enforcement across all program activities to ensure engineering integrity
Utilize analytical problem solving skills and strategic thinking abilities to resolve business issues
Collaborate with Engineering Directors, Program Office, Project Engineering, Business Management, and Division Leadership
Mentor junior staff
Support planning, budgeting staff forecasting for contract direct and indirect budgets supporting process development

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification

Job Qualifications:
Youll Bring These Qualifications:

BS degree in engineering or STEM discipline
14 years of experience in engineering on complex programs (12 years with a Masters degree; 9 years with a PhD)
Knowledgeable of product development life cycle and interactions among engineering disciplines
Knowledgeable of model-based engineering methods and tools
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance (clearance not required to start)
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

Process minded with ability to develop written procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project)

Subject Matter expert in engineering field
Project management experience
Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to achieve Top Secret Clearance
Masters degree in Engineering or related scientific fields
Technical Leadership experience
