If so, our MaterialOperations Team is looking for a seasoned, motivated senior level material analystwho will be instrumental in defining material requirements, analyzing programdata to prepare material spend plans, and work collectively with otherfunctional areas for the success of the programs. You will be in a demandingrole with high visibility and will be expected to develop new concepts,techniques, and standards within the Material Operations group supportingproduction and repair programs. Most assignments are complex and performedindependently without appreciable direction. You will prepare thoughtfulsolutions that will be presented for senior management on site.
Responsibilitiesinclude, but are not limited to, the following:
* Develop and analyze material requirements fromengineering specification and production schedules.
* Analyze system data to prepare material requirementsto include demand, spend plans, and financial reports.
* Lead project teams and provide solutions toproblematic issues to management
* Identify material shortage requirements, DMS parts,and innovated solutions to complex material constraints.
* Resolve schedule, material requirement or businesssystem problems with cross-functional representatives as well as masterschedules and production problems and negotiates lead times.
* Contributes to the development of concepts andtechniques that fully support the Material Health of production programs.
* Responsible to ensure availability of all materialsrequired to support completion of program requirements.
* Ensure timely and accurate material datacollection to enable accurate material forecasting to support on-going repairactivity.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* A Bachelor 39;s degree and 10 years of experience or Master rsquo;s Degree and 8 years of experience in supply chain, material management or supplier management. Experience should be in a production, repair, and/or depot environment; an additional 4 yrs. of direct relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
* Proficiency in MS Office Excel and MS Access.
* Must have demonstrated success in collecting and analyzing data to create complex material requirements reports, material spend reports, and program material health charts.
* Ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) secret security clearance.
* Ability to obtain/maintain access to work on-site in Warner Robins, Georgia.
* Expert in preparing presentations, reports, or other deliverable documents and presenting finding to senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Current Secret clearance.
* Experience in material analysis and/or planning in a depot or production environment.
* MRO/ PDM database and/or Electronic Systems SAP material transaction experience.
* Experience with material planning in an MRP situation.
* Understanding of Obsolescence and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
