NorthropGrumman Space Systems is seeking a Logistics Engineer for the Product Supportorganization. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support theGround Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program. Learn more about the GBSDprogram here.

JobDescription:

Thecandidate will perform logistics related analysis and maintenance planning ofthe GBSD platform. The candidate will influence system design to enhancesupportability and utilize engineering data from various sources to determinelogistics requirements.

Thesuccessful candidate will:

* Actas an advisor to management and customers, mentor and train junior engineers.

* Frequentinter-organization and outside customer communication is required and thecandidate represents the organization in providing solutions to difficulttechnical issues associated with complex projects

* Includesidentifying risks and opportunities and coordinates with project teams tomitigate and retire risks

* DevelopSE proposals to include reviewing amp; updating Supplier Statements of Work (SSOW),performing technical evaluations on all supplier proposal submittals, andattending proposal related reviews

* Evaluatesissues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customersatisfaction goals and objectives

* Mustpossess the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment,including critical thinking and technical problem solving skills

This positions standard workschedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour dayMonday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Qualification

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelorsdegree with a minimum of 14 years of relatable work experience

* Experiencewith Systems Engineering requirements analysis, trade studies, SupportEquipment Requirements Documentation (SERD) generation, design solutions,acquisition, test, and validation

* U.S.citizen

* ActiveDoD Secret clearance

* Mustpossess excellent oral and written communication skills

* Mustbe knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

PreferredQualifications:

* BSdegree in Science Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related discipline witha minimum of 14 years of relatable work experience

* Experiencein other Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) disciplines

* Proficientwith 3D design / 2D drawing CAD in NX

* Proficientwith Teamcenter

* Handson experience in equipment maintenance, fabrication, assembly, power, hand andmeasuring tools

* Militaryservice experience with Support Equipment and ICBM maintenance
