Intelligence Director - 6 month contract

The Storyful Intelligence team combines the skills of data analysts, researchers, journalists, and communications professionals. The Role:
You have the ability to multitask on projects at varying levels of complexity and comfortable with new technology, working with product teams to develop internal and external tools. You will work closely with the sales team and collaboratively craft solutions to address the clients business challenges. You will lead a nimble team of analysts to develop world-class, innovative intelligence reporting solutions for C-Suite communications and other corporate executives. You have fantastic client management skills and a natural talent for presenting complex insights in a compelling and engaging way. coordinate efforts with sales to ensure the team accomplishes its goals on deadline.
Responsibilities:
* Actively participates in and leads the building of reporting solutions based on market direction and client needs.
* Develops and implements best practice processes within the NY team - including rigorous maintenance of Storyfuls high standards in terms of report copy, presentation, reporting and client relations.
* Excellent writing and speaking skills: Writes and edits concise and accurate copy to publish internally and on public platforms.
* Ensures compliance with market research standards to support and strengthen the credibility of data-driven social intelligence methodologies.
* Works with the global and local Intelligence team to deliver against client execution, meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators.
* Mentors and manages the development of New York Intelligence Team members, identifying and acting on areas for upskilling.
Requirements:
* 4+ years experience within a market or social research, consumer insights, OSINT, or corporate communications consultancy environment
* 4+ years experience at leading teams. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and unite teams.
* Highest standards of copy editing and writing skills
* Natural ability to identify core insights and intelligence to drive communications outcomes
* Quick-wittedness and keen to learn new methodologies, tools and ways of working
* Fast learner with attention for detail and excellent time-management skills
* Expert in social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, TikTok, Snap, Pinterest, Vine, YouTube, Instagram, and other emerging platforms
* Aptitude for building and leveraging business resources and processes to ensure the team works effectively
* Excellent communication, presentation and client management skills when crafting internal and client correspondence, communication plans, new business proposals, etc.
* Innovative, proactive and hands-on approach to providing clients with creative solutions to address their challenges
