News Corp, a global media and information services company, is looking for a Functional Change Manager to support our Facilities/Procurement Function, in a multi-year transformation program. The purpose of this role is to support the change management activities of stakeholder engagement, leadership alignment, communications, training and learning, along with measurement and reporting on
change effectiveness. Key components of the role include developing and managing change plans, developing key messaging about the change and driving stakeholder engagement to support the global transformation initiative across the Facilities/Procurement organization.
This individual will be an integral member of the Change management team. This important role will lead functional Facilities/Procurement within the organization. This role will sit in Facilities/Procurement and work closely with the Change Management organization. Job Responsibilities:
* Capture changes and impacts throughout the design phase of the project
* Contribute content to program communications
* Establish and drive functional communication plans
* Develop communication collateral and artifacts
* Represent functions and facilitate engagement with Change Champions across BU Change network
* Serve as point of contact for stakeholder management
* Enable functional leaders to be News Next Advocates
* Serve as a Change Scout lead for Facilities/Procurement
* Lead efforts for function intranet page/s
* Design and oversee training requirements
Required Knowledge
* Previous experience in change management
* Previous experience supporting and interfacing with the Facilities/Procurement function and its individual lines of business
* 3+ years overall Business Systems Analysis experience required
* Experience with knowledge/familiarity of institutional knowledge of News Corp organization structure and culture is preferred but not mandatory
Required & Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in a related field required
* 7+ years of corporate professional experience
* 5+ years of working with a change management function
* Advanced knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
* Possess strong diplomacy skills
* Excellent written communication skills
* Ability to work with digital technology, various media forms
* Ability to exercise judgement on changes and impact including impacted stakeholder, and a sense of urgency
* Ability to identify, prioritize, and raise risk as needed
* Ability to deal with sensitive talent related matters
* Demonstrate transformation experience (large scale preferred)
