Position Description

Under the supervision of Associate Director, US Market Planning and Reporting Center of Excellence (CoE), this position has responsibility for providing financial support and business advisement primarily to the US Market Commercial organization of Organon.

Responsibilities include monthly closing activities, reporting of monthly actual results including variance analysis vs. Forecast and Budget, development of Forecasts, Budget and 5 Year Long Range Plan and other analysis as required.

Primary financial reporting and forecasting activities include:

* Completes monthly closing activities and analyzes actual results to highlight key performance drivers and provide insight on potential implications for achieving targets.

* Ensures integrity of reported financial results by maintaining planning and reporting models and databases.

* Assists in the development of accurate expense forecasts (eg., quarterly Forecasts, Budget, 5 Year Long Range Plan) including preparation of presentations for management review.

* Provides advisement on investment choices, prioritization, and allocation of expense targets.

* Provides reporting and analytical support as needed to US Market Revenue forecasting team and Organon COE team, including: coordination of SAP master data maintenance; Due to Price Analysis; BPC reporting troubleshooting and Ad hoc reporting

Position Qualifications:

Education Minimum Requirement:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business-related discipline with relevant experience

Required Experience and Skills:

* Minimum 2 years experience in Finance / Accounting or business analytics role

* Ability to create Excel-based models and expertise with the Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) planning & reporting system

* Comfortable employing financial modeling methods, tools and IT applications to collect, analyze, synthesize and validate financial data to support complex business decisions

* Ability to use sophisticated problem-solving techniques and tools, in support of strategic evaluations

* Understanding of data analysis that would allow for pre-emptive identification of issues and their implications

* Ability to adopt and apply new technology and techniques

* Able to accept new processes and ways of doing business

Preferred Experience and Skills:

* Expertise in Excel, Power Point, Thinkcell, SAP reporting system (BPC)
