Overview:
The Senior Manager, Compliance is responsible for ensuring FDS Bank, Macy's Credit and Customer Services, and each Credit Operations area is adhering to legal compliance requirements. This includes regulatory requirements related to banking regulations, legal, internal and external business partner requirements, as well as researching and staying abreast of industry and regulatory changes. The colleague is also responsible for performing other duties as necessary.
Essential Functions:
* Manage the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)/Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Accounts (OFAC) requirements for FDS Bank.
* Oversee FDS Banks regulatory compliance and reporting (Credit Card Act, Reg Z, Reg O, FFIEC, SAR and CTR reporting, etc.).
* Complete self-assessment testing to demonstrate appropriate oversight for all compliance requirements.
Be an expert on all FDS Bank related compliance projects. Interact with Legal, Operating Depts, Marketing, Systems, external business partner and others regarding any new regulatory changes; provide day to day guidance to business areas, participate in systems testing and implementations as needed.
* Develop and manage the FDS Banks Vendor Management program.
* Review and Update Annual Compliance and Complaint Training Programs.
* Support all FRB, OCC (Office of the Comptroller of the Currency) and Internal Audit Regulatory Exams.
* Prepare, issue and present quarterly FDS Bank Board materials including CRA support.
* Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
* Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university required.
* Five to seven years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
* Experienced in Credit Card Compliance, Banking, regulatory adherence and working with regulators, partners, and senior management.
Communication Skills:
* Strong Communication and presentation skills.
Reasoning Ability:
* Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Demands:
* This position involves extended periods of sitting and the extensive use of computer and the office equipment.
* May involve stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
* Involves close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Other Skills:
* Must be familiar with Legal documents, governmental and banking procedures.
Work Hours:
* Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store/company needs.
