Ocala Operations is now hiring for a Manufacturing Planner.
Lockheed Martin's Ocala site is a multi-shift manufacturing facility that builds circuit cards, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical assemblies. The facility currently has over 1600 employees and provides products to six Missiles and Fire Control sites. Ocala specializes in both low volume, high mix, and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor-intensive manufacturing. Ocala Operations has a represented manufacturing workforce that is supported by a strong engineering and operations support team.
The selected candidate will:
- Be expected to gain a full understanding of all Ocala SAP software systems as they relate to production planning
- Work as an integral part of a cross-functional team on assigned program
- Provide status of hardware
- Monitor material for timely release to factory
- Maintain and monitor all control metrics
- Aid in meeting all scheduled deliveries
- Interface with the customer to provide program health information

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Understanding of Material Resource Planning (MRP) and knowledge of Inventory Control.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
This facility requires special access and the selected candidate must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
Prior SAP experience.
American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) Certification.
Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
Previous work experience in a related discipline. Preferred disciplines such as Production Operations Management, Supply Chain Management.
Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication skills.
Candidate must demonstrate a teamwork orientation.
