The Clinical Nurse Team Leader, under the direction of assigned Department Director, supervises the operations of the department nursing area, its patients population and assigned team members during a designated period of time.
The Clinical Nurse Team Leader assumes responsibility and accountability for organizing, controlling, and implementing department activities and coordinating the activities with other department activities within the hospital. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups.
Job Requirements
MinimumEducation: Graduate of a School of Nursing program. BSNpreferred.
Minimum Experience: Three (3) years experience in ssupervisor capacity preferred.
Certification/Licensure: Current New Mexico or compactRN license required. Current CPR, PALS, and ACLSrequired.
For New Hires: Requiredcertification must be obtained with in (1) year of employment. Ifcurrently certified, must maintain current certification.
ACLS: is required forall areas where moderate sedation is performed.
Certification or completion courses must meet the standardsof Memorial Medical Center.
