Rutherford Regional Health System
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs by implementing a written plan of care and in accordance with state and federal regulations. Provides educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy. Supervises physical therapist assistants in performing treatment.
Job Requirements
Minimum Education
Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Interpersonal and communication skills to enhance patient relations.
Certifications:
BLS required
Licenses: Current Physical Therapy license to practice in NC.
Minimum Work Experience
1-3 years PT experience preferred.
