Castleview Hospital
The Food Services Worker prepares cold food items for patients in accordance with established procedures to ensure food quality; maintains a routine stock level of diet and regular cold items for use at any time; tallies cold food items, assembles/garnished trays for patients and cafeteria customers for effective presentations; rotates labels and date of perishable foods to maintain freshness of products; prepares sandwiches and deserts for cafeteria clients; set up and clean salad bar and desert area of cafeteria line; serves cold food on tray assembly line; utilized established menu portion sizes and guidelines; plans layout of salad bar for attractiveness and variety; varies the selection on the salad bar to maintain a new and different level of appeal; tries new recipes and/or new salads for the salad bar being mindful of the cost per serving; serves hot food to cafeteria clients and guest utilizing standard portion control and appropriate techniques to maintain sanitation; and performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Food Handlers Card or Serve Safe Certificate and BLS required within 60 days.

The HSC is organized to bring resources to bear across the continuum of care, from before a patient accesses healthcare services to after they are sent home, while keeping quality and compliance at the center.
On a daily basis, our group leaders and subject matter experts are working with our local markets to help develop and implement the right strategies that ensure healthcare thrives in their communities.
