LifePoint Health- Health Support Center

The Analyst, Integration is responsible for providing end-user support and ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout implementation, maintenance, and enhancements of current and future system interfaces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Provide end-user support on new and existing data interfaces between LifePoint Hospitals and various ancillary systems, electronic medical records (EMR) and Health Information Exchange (HIE) applications to include troubleshooting issues and providing ongoing maintenance.

Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot data integrity issues within all Rhapsody environments and escalate to management when appropriate.

Coordinate with hospital Directors, Managers, and technical resources to develop and implement data integration project plans and track plan details.

Implement and support the Health Information Exchange(HIE) direct messaging project under the direction of management.

Coordinate new facility Medicity Direct Trust enrollment and implementation processes by providing testing, application support, and meaningful use report production.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems found within error queues or escalate when appropriate and oversight is required.

Administer and assist with implementation interfaces between LifePoint Health Hospitals and various ancillary systems, Physician Practice EMRs, and Health Information Exchange (HIE) applications.

Provide ongoing support of electronic referrals to meet specific guidelines.

Monitor interface engine to ensure uninterrupted message transfer between electronic systems.

Assist and collaborate with new acquisition interfaces for the Rhapsody Integration team.

Assist in third party data release process to include obtaining necessary documents for approval process, BAA, contracts, and data specifications.

Provide status updates on various ancillary systems, EMRs and Health Information Exchange(HIE) applications to Senior Analyst, Integration.

Regular and reliable attendance.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Access to and/or works with sensitive and/or confidential information.

Exhibit a basic understanding of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). Skilled in the application of policies and procedures. Knowledge of Business Office Standards and Recommended Practices.

Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Information Systems (CIS) preferred.

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Skills and Abilities:

Business Mathematical Skills -- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Technical Computer Skills -- Demonstrate use of intermediate computer operations (basic programming, relational databases, and operating systems) and intermediate software packages.

Moderate Communication Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.
