Job Description

Responsible for tending machines in the three machining departments on the shop floor: Forge, Rotary and CNC. Will occasionally work in the Assembly or Deburring areas if needed.•Tends machines and presses in Forge, Rotary or CNC Departments.

•Check for and file paperwork for completed jobs.

•Make periodic visual and gauged quality checks; complete all quality paperwork and approvals.

•Pull SPC on incoming raw materials.

•Maintain a high degree of quality and safety.

•Ability to give operating instructions when needed.

•Ability to train, instruct and assist trainees through the training period.

•Use of judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to set ups and operations within recognized procedures. •Proceed on work assignments with minimum supervision and assistance.

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent preferred

• Machine classes or vocational training helpful

•Entry level; ability to train on all job functions

•Machining experience helpful

•Mental and visual acuity for production of quality product
