Job description
Business Development Opportunity Management
-Serve as single point of contact for all US GRA opportunities
-Liaise with BD on exploratory early engagement opportunities and ensure correct staff attend client meetings
-Develop and maintain Opportunity Tracking process and tool on opportunity status, assigned resources and other parameters (location, therapy area, source)
-Coordinate reporting of all opportunities through regularly scheduled meetings with GRA LT
-Update opportunities through lifecycle in CRM either by liaising and driving compliance with BD or updating personally
Proposals
-Review and confirm all US GRA budgets
-Guide and review all proposal content
-Attend strategy calls for new RFPs
Financial
-Present, implement and optimize relevant financial and operational metrics
-Prepare and present financial information for US GRA LT
-Facilitate revenue recognition and billing by liaising with project leads
-Serve as EAC point of contact for all US GRA projects
-Provide analytics on financial reports as necessary
-Support the operational review process as required.
-Support the budgeting and account planning process as required
o Ensure forecasted and assigned revenue is received and report variances to GRA Leadership
Operational
-Contracting and Vendors
-Manage Client and Vendor agreements
-Handle Vendor invoicing and payments
Essential experience, skills and education required
Essential experience of working with or within a commercial team or supporting a commercial team to drive sales revenue, provide forecasting and influencing changes of behavior.
You may be from a commercial or finance background but you must be happy and familiar with understanding the financials and the necessity to get close to the detail, as well as seeing the bigger picture , and creating strategy.
Strong leadership, management and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Advanced CRM knowledge and Excel skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization and build remote relationships
Clear communicator and good presentation skills.
Good knowledge and understanding of sales process/cycle.
Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
