This datacenter architecture leadership team at Intel is seeking highly qualified architects to lead the definition of the next generation processor architecture for Intel products and SoCs. The architect will work with senior leaders in SoC, IP and Product teams, customers, and ecosystem partners to drive the datacenter compute and IO technologies. Key responsibility includes crafting the specification of the overall hardware organization, IP requirements and software interface of process of datacenter Silicon and Platforms; guiding the SoC development and deployment; and offering strategic recommendations. The architect will leverage their knowledge and experience to understand the evolution of customer deployments, cloud applications, data and bandwidth growth to drive the product and SoC IO architecture, while taking into account the Silicon technology trends, cost, schedule and performance tradeoffs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineer, or related field.

10+ years of processor architecture experience, including direct experience with server processors, processor interconnects, ISA, memory types, memory models, memory consistency

10+ years of developing, evaluating and documenting hardware architecture features
5+ years of computer IO architecture experience including standards like PCIe, device architecture, software/driver conventions and operation

Preferred qualifications

MS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineer, or related field.

2+ years of experience with network devices

1+ years of experience with CXL protocol, devices and their software API.
