JOB SUMMARY:
Manages and develops programs to grow sales and increase gross profit. This includes customer formulary development, creating and maintaining alternative product data bases, managing divisional marketing adjustments, vendor relations, item initiation, pricing and competitive analysis and growing chargebacks.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Reviews and develops divisional sales data to identify new sales and gross profit opportunities.
* Creates vendor report cards and spearheads quarterly vendor review meetings.
* Negotiates favorable vendor terms and special pricing. Coordinates implementation of special pricing and chargebacks with Contracts team and Operations team
* Manages Divisional Marketing Adjustments and pricing process. Coordinates with Sales Analyst group to ensure that the systems are updated accordingly
* Manages and maintains product alternative data base. Coordinates changes with Operations team.
* Determines pricing of annual customer contracts and ensures the highest possible margin
* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Qualification
EXPERIENCE
3 + years combined merchandising/marketing/analysis experience.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Dental and Medical product knowledge, Excel,Power Point,Word and Access.
