Position Description: RN ICU, Part-Time Nights 6p6a

The Registered Nurse ICU provides direct and indirect patient care in the critical care setting. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement and CQI activities.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

Graduate of a school of Nursing. BSN is desirable.

Experience:

One to two years of recent critical care experience preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

* Current Utah Registered Nurse License or RN Compact license (required).
* Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification available after hire.
* American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (ACLS) and Certification preferred. Must obtain within 1 year from date of hire and then maintain certification.
