POSITION SUMMARY:
The Data Quality Analyst will function in a specialist role to the Quality Department. The scope of this position focuses on the assessment/analysis, coordination and presentation of data in Quality areas. This role functions through analysis of patient population, physician practice patterns, and data collection and analysis. The analyst will provide data analysis, create detailed data reports using internal and external data tools (e.g. Tableau and QlikView), management and report writing from database systems. The analyst creates and maintains clinical and statistical data and abstracts various data elements required by designations, state requirements and facility itself. The analyst will provide data collection/statistics from various databases for reporting. This position may be accountable for the collection, completion, and verification of the accuracy of patient data collected from the hospital. This position is crucial to the implementation of data management and improvement of administrative functions in the areas mentioned above. The analyst will schedule and attend meetings; and provide any applicable follow-up documentation and make recommendations for improvements.

REQUIRED LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS: None
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree aligned to computer science or data science.
PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Masters Degree in related field and/or experience in clinical research or clinical data analysis is preferred.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES: 2 years data analyst experience in health care setting
