KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, including automated systems. Repairs may include wiring, component replacement, PLC programming, machining, or vision/location sensor installation/alignment.
* Properly document all maintenance activities in the proper systems in a timely manner.
* Provide support to Manufacturing Engineers with setup, installation and validation of new automation systems.
* Effectively collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality personnel to ensure written procedures and specifications are updated during implementation of new/revised processes and equipment.
* Recommend and/or implement updates to Maintenance Procedures.
* Assist Manufacturing Engineers with the development of proposals for equipment purchase.
* Ensure that proper safety attitudes, procedures, and housekeeping are maintained on all work programs. Conduct work in a manner that protects the environment and safety of the community.
* Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
* 2+ years experience in a manufacturing environment with preferred emphasis on medical products manufacturing.
* Good problem solving and observational skills.
* Effective use of hand and machine tools.
* Effective troubleshooting skills.
* Strong electronic experience a plus.
Education
* AA in Electrical Engineering
Information Technology
* Basic Computer Skills, including experience with Office Products
Travel
* Up to 10% may be required including international travel
Language
* Must be able to read, write and fluently communicate in English
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
