The Manager, Internal Communications will be an integral member of the Danaher communications team. In this role, you will serve as the primary communications resource on key projects that advance strategically important functional initiatives. You will provide strategic support to colleagues by developing and executing robust communication and change management plans leveraging a range of channels and tactics including branded emails, videos, resource guides and content for Danahers intranet and all-associate publications. Core client groups include:
* Corporate IT and Business Services Team, including IT Infrastructure and Information Security
* Legal, including Data Privacy and Compliance
* Finance and Accounting
* Corporate Teams & Offices
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Work with Danahers Corporate functional teams to build clear communications strategies and plans in support of key projects and processes that impact broad audiences. Implement innovative communication and change management strategies to gain adoption for new functional initiatives. Manage communications plans to meet business objectives, metrics and deadlines.
* Develop clear and concise messaging using a variety of existing internal and external channels and develop channels, where none exist, to effectively reach target audiences (people leaders, associates, functional teams). May work with internal stakeholders to support communications campaign effectiveness tracking.
* Serve as the subject matter expert to ensure functional communications are compelling and accessible to all intended and specified audiences and aligned to brand standards.
* Manage the flow of relevant functional communications materials delivered through a variety of channels to 67,000 global Danaher associates. Quickly evaluate and capitalize on timely communications opportunities.
* Support content development for functional intranet sites ensuring that all content is up-to-date, relevant and compelling. Work with intranet team to plan and execute more complex intranet changes and capabilities.
* Coach and guide functional colleagues on communications best practices, strategies and processes.
* Manage communications plans to meet functional business objectives, metrics and deadlines.
* Maintain Standard Work and continually review and incorporate the latest technologies and best practices to amplify communications and improve current practices.

You must be an excellent and articulate communicator, intellectually curious and have a strong work ethic. You should be an independent thinker and self-starter with the bandwidth to multitask, prioritize and work on several key projects at a given time. You must have the ability to participate in spirited give-and-take discussions about your work. It is important that you have superior interpersonal and influencing skills with an ability to work with people at multiple levels both inside and outside of Danaher.
