Disney Legal is seeking an experienced paralegal whose primary role would be to support legal work for the Disney Consumer Products business, including both merchandise and publishing, under the supervision of Disney Legal attorneys. The primary focus of this role will be to support Lucasfilm properties, but there will also be opportunities to support other Disney properties. This role will be based in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities:

* Drafting merchandise & publishing license agreements and amendments.
* Drafting services agreements, promotional agreements, NDAs, authorization letters, and other types of correspondence and agreements with licensees and vendors.
* Working closely with attorneys, other paralegals, and clients within Third-Party Commercialization, Publishing, Contract Administration, and other internal partners.
* Supporting merchandise & publishing rights clearance and rights management.
* Miscellaneous projects as they arise.

Basic Qualifications:

* Minimum of 3 years experience at a law firm, corporate law department, or corporate contract administration department.
* Commercial/transactional experience is required.
* Excellent writing and analytical skills are required.
* Must have experience in contract drafting
* Must be an exceedingly organized, detail-oriented person, and able to multi-task and work independently, without extensive secretarial support.
* Must have strong computer skills, including with office productivity software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Intellectual Property experience

Required Education

Bachelors degree and qualification to be a paralegal by certification or education and work experience as set forth by the American Bar Association and any applicable state codes
