Responsibilities
Performs basic nursing care. Provides for the psychosocial needs of patients. Performs various non-nursing functions associated with the maintenance and operation of the unit.
Qualifications
Completion of state approved nursing assistant program, or EMT, or successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing course from an approved RN or LPN program and maintain current enrollment in said program, or completion of nursing program (preferred).Previous experience in healthcare setting preferred.Current SC CNA certification preferred; EMT certificate or passing grade in Fundamentals of nursing course preferred. BLS certification required.Must have good clerical, analytical, and communication skills. Proficient in typing, computer programs and clerical responsibilities.
