This role supports the Director with end-to-end business/affordability clinical analytics support. The role will combine technical capability with business analytics know-how, to include concept and build out of appropriate dashboard and reporting metrics. Assists in developing critical performance dashboards and reports in order to assess progress of clinical affordability programs. This position requires both technical capability and analytical capability to tell the business story underlying the data. In addition, the role will have responsibility for data and reporting quality and accuracy.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Research, retrieve, design and deliver organized analytics and reporting of key clinical performance metrics
* Analyze benchmarking data, reports, processes, and measurements. Provides concise summary of findings and observations
* Document and develop complex business analysis and reporting requirements
* Evaluate and prioritizes data changes and enhancements, liaison with internal technical teams on data quality assurance
* Interpret data, facts and/or trends independently and makes business recommendations to management and stakeholders
* Coordinate a variety of projects/requests simultaneously and ensures timely completion in accordance with business initiatives
* Develop innovative approaches to achieve deliverables

Required Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree
* 4+ years' business analysis experience and ability to extract and synthesize complex data and understand the underlying business conditions reflected in data trends and patterns
* Understanding of relational database concepts
* 4+ years' experience and technical capability to include multi-source datasets using SQL (MS SQL Server 2012+ or T-SQL/ TOAD) and/or SAS to support dashboard and reporting solutions
* 4+ years' experience with data visualization tools, specifically tableau
* Ability to prioritize deliverables and disseminate complex technical specifications into visualizations understandable to nontechnical business partners and customers across the organization
* Microsoft Office Software proficiencies (ppt, Word, Sharepoint) with demonstrated proficiency with Excel including advanced features and capabilities
* If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Preferred Qualifications:

* Developer experience with Tableau
* Experience analyzing clinical performance data
* Experience summarizing observations and findings in a reporting structure to be presented to senior leadership and external clients
* Business knowledge of government programs (Medicare Advantage) healthcare data and systems

Colorado Residents Only: The salary/hourly range for Colorado residents is $94,500 - $171,700.
