Role Summary

Works with a team of middle office professionals performing activities in the establishment and maintenance, of Equity and Fixed Income (and other) security reference attributes, reconciliations and controls. Works with team and defined workflows to ensure an accurate and timely security master and reference data systems while partnering with Trading and Trade Support. Works with third-party vendors. Will be a part of implementing process improvement initiatives. Will assist in operational support in the new product and instrument pipeline as well as to firms broader strategic plans.

Responsibilities

Will understand and manage security reference data related activities enabled by ensuring an internal control environment producing industry-leading accuracy and timeliness. May involve complex securities and tight deadlines. Bloomberg knowledge important, additionally experience with MSCI, Reuters, and Markit is helpful.

Will serve as subject matter expert for security reference data and trade services processes. Will works closely with securities trading, compliance, operations, relationship managers, technology teams and vendors to ensure a seamless and efficient client experience. Basic SQL knowledge and data base querying experience a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred

* 2+ years of relevant work experience
* Ability to consistently execute to deadlines and provide a quality product
* Excellent communication skills, judgment, and the ability to interact with many levels within the organization and external service providers
* Excellent project management skills
* Ability to build strong controls and processes to mitigate risk
* Systems and business knowledge - knowledge of Bloomberg, MSCI, Reuters, and Markit helpful
* Strong organization skills
* Ability to provide constructive feedback and guidance for the development of others

* Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 0+ years of total relevant work experience
