Overview

This position, located at Reading Hospital in West Reading, PA, is a 750+ bed, tertiary care facility on a 36-acre campus.

Job Summary

Located on a beautiful 36-acre campus in picturesque Berks County, Reading Hospital is a 700+ bed facility with state of the art technology that is large enough to offer big city medicine, while maintaining a warm community spirit among our health care team. And, most important to you, we provide anesthesia care with compassion in a collaborative and team oriented environment. With 28 operating rooms, Reading Hospital offers an unparalleled opportunity for Nurse Anesthetists to join a group of 40 plus CRNAs and 27 MDAs at one of the largest and most comprehensive hospital operating rooms in the region. Our hospital has performed 20,000 surgical procedures in 2011 including 359 da Vinci procedures, and 900 hip and knee replacements; has the busiest Emergency Department and fastest growing Level II Trauma Center; in Pennsylvania; exceeds 31,000 admissions and 2.7 million outpatient services a year; Regional Centers for cardiac, cancer, neonatology, behavioral health, and orthopedic services; is perennially ranked among the top 5% of all Pennsylvania hospitals in-patient admissions, surgical procedures, emergency care volume and outpatient services; is ranked in the top 5 % nationally for patient safety/clinical performances.

Qualifications

Must be licensed in PA and previous experience as a CRNA is required.
