Position Overview

Under supervision, conduct business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analysis to align information technology solutions with business initiatives. Define system scope, document requirements, and develop, or modify low to moderately complex information systems

Performance Objectives

* Performance Objective 1: Consult with business users to identify current business operating procedures and to clarify program objectives
* Performance Objective 2: Document business user processes and requirements for coding systems or programs including the data sources to be utilized.
* Performance Objective 3: Create moderately complex reports to support business users and management requests.
* Performance Objective 4: Assist analysts and programmers with system acceptance testing and troubleshooting.
* Performance Objective 5: Act as user liaison to resolve system issues and configure / enhance systems according to user or management requests.
* Performance Objective 6: Develop clear and user-friendly manuals to describe process and data flow, program installation, and operating procedures.

Experience & Education

* Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field or the equivalent education and/or experience
* 0-2 years of relevant and progressive professional experience required
* Possess and have ability to apply knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures
* Solid written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
* Advanced organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office Package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word)

Travel Expectations (if applicable)

* Less than 10% domestic travel expected. Currently no travel due to Covid-19
