What youll do

TJX Architecture is spearheading the global digital transformation of the organization. We partner with our product teams, capture strategy, assess the current state capabilities, establish future state needs, build roadmap leveraging cutting edge components such as Cloud, DevOps, Intelligent Automation and usher in the next generation technology solutions that power the business capabilities for the organization. We are looking for a motivated, experienced Atlassian Engineer to help us evolve our Agile planning practice.

As a Tools Engineer, the role will have technical ownership for the tools in the Agile and DevOps space and will act as a SME to enable delivery and support organizations. This individual will also be responsible for driving adoption of the enterprise toolsets and act as technical consultant to delivery organizations.

What youll need

Our team is looking for people with a passion for technology, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to try new things to drive better solutions and get results. We want people that are familiar with the challenges of driving adoption of Agile and DevOps practices as we continue to modernize.

Required Skills:

* Bachelors Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset / training / work experience in relevant technical domain
* 3-5 years of experience designing, implementing and administering Atlassian tools (on-prem and SaaS) in Planning and Collaboration space.
* Experience setting up and administering Jira and Confluence.
* 3-5 years of experience in Agile delivery space.
* Hands on experience with Jira plugins and scripting languages like Groovy, Powerscript, EzBI, Structure etc.
* Experience with programming languages like Java, Python, Perl, SQL, JavaScript, shell scripting or NodeJS.
* Experience using Unix/Linux as a DevOps environment (e.g. install, configure, and integrate DevOps tools with Active Directory and Oracle Databases).
* Ability to train IT product delivery teams on accurate use of DevOps tools and capabilities. Strong consulting and mentoring skills.

Preferred Skills (nice to have):

* Exposure to Cloudbees Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, HP UFT, Selenium, AppDynamics, and Splunk.
* Experience with one of the following Cloud technologies like Azure, GCP or AWS.
* Experience in other DevOps practices like Continuous Integration, Continuous deployment, Continuous monitoring etc.
* SAFe experience
* Experience setting up and administering Jira Align or Bitbucket.
