How will you make an impact?
As a member of the Human Identification R&D group you will develop automated liquid handling solutions to improve forensic customer workflows. You should have a passion for product development, a proven track record of either developing or being experienced in liquid handling automated platforms and be comfortable working on prototype instruments.
What will you do?
Build, adapt, and optimize automated liquid handling methods to improve forensic customer workflows
Work on prototypes of complex instrumentation systems
Develop and execute test plans and write reports and other documentation
Work cross functionally with engineers, software developers, scientists, and other disciplines
Troubleshoot technical problems and serve as a liaison with internal customer concern teams as needed
Provide customer training and support; maintain positive customer relations
How will you get here?
Requires at least Bachelor's degree preferably biochemistry, molecular biology, or similar
Hands-on experience with Hamilton or Tecan automated liquid handler systems and software
Experience programming an automated liquid handler is a plus
Experience with general molecular biology techniques and sample preparation of forensic type samples.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication and presentation skills
