Description
PowerSecure has an exciting opportunity for a Project Development Engineer to join our team in Durham, NC. as the technical resource contact for the Distributive Infrastructure (DI) sales team. This will include pre-sales and early contract project assembly verifications of project scope, costing, application, and client design intent. The engineer also remains involved with the project post-sale as a systems technical resource to the project management team.
Requirements
* BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical degree
* Minimum of 5 years experience as an electrical consultant, application engineer or in related industry
* Strong CAD and computer software skills are a must
* Prior experience working with a sales team
* Renewable Power Distribution Systems experience (Inverter based Energy Storage & Solar) a plus
* Power system modeling (fault, coordination, arc flash) in SKM a plus
* Experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is a plus
