Job Description

* Performs all work in a safe manner in accordance to safety policy.
* Act as liaison with other plants, International Logistics, and all departments regarding all shipment issues with inter-company transfers.
* Documents all inventory movements according to established guidelines in SAP.
* Approves invoices for Service Orders to Accounting through SAP.
* Balances weekly consignment inventory levels with supplier.
* Communicates the return of lease equipment through Customer Service, Accounting, Engineering, and maintains appropriate records.
* Accurately receives, stocks, picks, packages and ships materials for external and internal orders by due date as required.
* Participates in team projects for continuous improvement, 5s organization, and quality.
* Coordinate the logistics and process shipments for all types of freight carriers including all exports according to policy.

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Four years experience in a Shipping or Material Management related field.
* Must be able to work as a team player, under production pressure with changing priorities, work unplanned overtime, and 24-hour on call (pager) as required.
* The ability to lift fifty pounds and safe operation of a stand up and conventional fork lift.
* Must be able to read drawings, understand Bill of Materials, ATP, and MRP.
* The skill and knowledge to trouble shoot, analyze historical inventory transactions, and have extensive knowledge of the material flow through all SAP processes including production orders to identify and correct the root cause of variances.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* The understanding of consignment, floor stock, and vendor managed inventory.
* Ability to understand mathematical conversions in relation to unit of measures, read a tape measure, and accurately record material cycle counts through SAP transactions.
