What youll be doing
The Associate Customer Solutions Program Manager is primarily responsible for the day-to-day delivery of project components, and of aspects of tactical operations. Professional skills will include an understanding of Tableau's Customer Success business as well as processes, tools and data relating to operational functions. Development of these skills will be ongoing, and will be supported by the organization. The role requires an understanding of how to manage and deliver project components, how to seek and work with guidance from project leaders, and how to communicate, as needed, status, progress, risks, and issues to co-workers and to stakeholders.
The Associate Program Manager is a team player who understands the need to build strong relationships with key partners within Customer Solutions, and to communicate clearly, early and often. The role comes with a responsibility to align project and operational work with the goals and values of Tableau.
Some of the things youll be doing
* Leads, design, delivery, testing, training/documentation, and roll-out of projects. Oversees the ongoing success of assigned processes and workflows, reports on risks and issues, and tracks and reports on specified success measures and KPIs.
* Coordinates within own project team, and with global project contributors and stakeholders
* Works closely and effectively with project, program and team managers, co-workers, and stakeholders, and builds strong alliances with them by deploying strong team-working, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
* Effectively identifies and communicates blockers and opportunities for improvement in assigned functional areas.
* Builds and maintains an in-depth understanding of the Tableau products.
* Acts as an advocate for assigned operational functions, project components, and the interests of the customer.
* Keeps track of developments in the Tableau business and the Customer Solutions industry.
* Regularly assesses and improves own performance in such areas as job knowledge, technical skills, productivity, accountability, quality, initiative, innovation, drive, working relationships, communications, and alignment with the Tableau core values.
Who you are
* Experienced. 2+ years of direct or related experience in program management or the customers success / subscription renewals space
* Leader. Proven track record in creating, delivering, and training successfully with measurable results in fast paced environments, or leading teams who do so.
* Communicator. Strong ability to represent concepts, as well as summarize and communicate complex ideas into curriculum with a strong sense of how professionals think, operate and absorb training.
* Driver. You have demonstrated the ability to drive alignment and project execution with a broad consortium of stakeholders
* Team Player. Get it done attitude with a strong sense of team collaboration.
* Storyteller. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
* Analytical. Strong process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and create improvements.
