Job Overview

We are looking for software engineer with demonstrable knowledge and Linux embedded systems experience. Major responsibility is to provide support to our customer/distributors with the design, development and debug of Qualcomm software related issues. Candidate must quickly assimilate onto an existing project, understanding software driver architecture, read technical specifications/requirements, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and work closely with external customers to support for customizing and launching their new products.

Minimum Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
* 3+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
* 3+ years experience with debugging techniques.
* 3+ years experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
* Have knowledge about Linux and/or other RTOSes (ThreadX, FreeRTOS)

Preferred Qualifications

* Strong software debugging skills on embedded system.
* Knowledge of Embedded Linux Kernel architecture, drivers, and operations.
* Strong C development and debugging skills.
* Experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Linux kernel, BSP, bootloader, or board bring-up
* Linux device drivers (e.g. PCIe, USB, I2C, UART, and etc)
* Embedded/mobile Linux frameworks
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high motivation, the ability to learn quickly
* Embedded or wireless system software development and integration on telecommunications devices
* Familiarity with ARM architecture, Emulators/JTAG-debuggers, test equipment such as Oscilloscope/Logic Analyzers and others tool.
* Have knowledge on hardware design and can debug hardware problem is an advantage.
* Scripting in Perl, Python, and CMM
* Ability to work as part of a dedicated project team and independently

Education Requirements

* Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* Preferred: Master's, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science
