Job Description
As a corporate attorney in Progressives Product Design Practice Group (PDPG), you will work on a variety of legal issues regarding the design, implementation and maintenance of Progressives property and casualty products as well as regulatory compliance matters.
Youll work closely with business managers on the development of new insurance products and the modification of existing products. Must have qualifications - Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school - Active license to practice law in at least one state - Minimum 5 years of legal experience Preferred skills and experience - Experience with personal lines property and casualty insurance, insurance coverage, insurance product design and/or insurance regulatory matters - Experience researching and applying laws to complex business matters and effectively communicating those results to business partners - Ability to be precise about identifying possible outcomes and assessing the probability of any of those outcomes occurring - Experience working with cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment - Sound analytical, problem solving, and risk assessment skills Benefits - Gainshare bonus up to 40% of your eligible earnings; Progressive rewards each of us with an annual bonus based on company performance - Restricted stock options - 401(k) with dollar-for-dollar company match up to 6%
