Responsibilitiesn

As an Assistant Financial Director in General Account Investment, youu2019ll lead the activities and personnel of the financial function to provide timely and accurate financial statements, reports, documentation, and applications. Youu2019ll be in coordination and communication of investment income and capital forecasting, reporting and analysis with several business units and corporate finance clients. In addition, youu2019ll help guide the attribution and rollforward analysis and generate consumable narrative.

* Provide leadership for all financial activities and projects. Direct workflow to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial information and reports.n
* Work with Business Units to integrate changes to modeling/forecasting process for income/capital.n
* Lead large projects that could involve the coordination of several areas.n
* Perform financial analysis and research; identify trends and variances on a timely basis for use by management and other operating areas in decision making. Make recommendations as appropriate.n
* Initiate opportunities to provide technical and business expertise to business units.n
* Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.n

Qualificationsn

Weu2019re looking for someone with:

* Bacheloru2019s degree or equivalent of 8 yearsu2019 experience.n
* 7+ years related experience including specific knowledge and interest of investments, markets, economic trends and capital models.n
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills. Collaborative & customer focused.n
* Understanding of modeling and accounting platforms. (Alfa, Essbase, and Tagetik)n
* Project management and process mapping skills.n
* Leadership & people skills. The ability to select, train, coach, develop and motivate team members requiredn
* Demonstrates the ability to embrace and understand the change process, and effectively guides others through change.n
* Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn is preferred.nn
