Job Description

As a Director of Pricing and Strategic Analysis, you will lead the pricing, Point of Sale (POS) analytics, and customer insights teams for PPGs Architectural Coatings USCA business. You will guide the team in the creation of workable insights that drive top line growth and margin expansion across all channels. Additionally, you will also support SBU strategic projects by providing oversight of key commercial analytics related work streams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Serve as a key partner to the product, marketing, and field sales teams providing thoughtful insights and price recommendations (product/customer) backed by data. Ad-hoc strategic analysis
* Support marketing and product management in the pricing of new products and in analysis of current products
* Collaborate with Commercial Excellence to drive execution of insights
* Support quarterly competitor performance comparisons in total and at the segment level complete with key take-aways and performance drivers
* Analyze segment performance, competitor performance, and market performance. Collaborate with finance and the field sales organization to align on recommendations as applicable
* Lead the market, customer, and consumer insight development to support business strategy development
* Encourage engagement within the team while creating career development activities, performance management, training and mentoring opportunities for all team members.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field is required. An MBA is preferred.
* 8-10 years of industry experience within a highly-analytical role is required.
* Previous experience working as part of a corporate pricing program is strongly preferred.
* Must have proven supervisory experience.
* Expert in PowerPoint and Excel required; familiarity with Alteryx, or other pricing tools, and Power BI is a plus.
* Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to work and communicate with all levels of an organization
